Devoid Education of American Students

Have you ever noticed that the students of today spend more time at the mall than hitting the books? Well, I have, too. Students of today aren't fufilling their education requirements, nor are they attempting to learn anything. Me, being a student myself, actually try to work on my education. I have great goals in life, and for me to accomplish those would be everything to me.
First of all, you should know that ever since school existed there were students not completing school, whether it be due to lack of funds, transportation, or other factor. But now, instead of getting highschool dropouts, we have highschool dunderheads who don't know what the square root of 100 is. Now, I'm not saying that all students don't know anything, though I am saying that the parents of these students should buckle down and teach their children to love education and pursue it.   I believe that the majority of students who fail any courses in freshman year of high school will not make it very far (heck, some might not even graduate!), but there are always those hopefuls.
Secondly, I'm a student whom has large goals. I would love to graduate at the age of 16. To do this, I would need some online courses and summer school, all of which I can incorporate into my schedule. I also have large goals for colleges. Stanford would be my first choice. Secondly would be Harvard, and third would be another Ivy League school. After graduation, I will go to medical school, and study to become a neurosurgeon, in which case a job may be available, due to the lackingness of people in the medical field at the moment. Challenging myself is one thing I know and love. I love learning new things, but can only do this by working hard at everything I do. You know, there is only one thing that I don't get top-notch grades in... History. I understand kids who fail history. I've never gotten an A in any history class, though I've got a logical, sequential mind. I've never been entertained by the past. I'll always look to the future. Sometimes I wish that people would teach their kids to enjoy life and the education that they receive, because in some places, people can't afford education.
In conclusion, I hope that anyone reading this will be more inclined to hit the books, or at least inform others to do the same, otherwise, we'll all eventually become like the people in the movie "Idiocracy". So please, if you are a parent, teach your child to look at their education more seriously, otherwise we might as well kiss this world goodbye.

Welcome One and All!

Hello everyone who visits this blog! I'm new to blogging, but decided it'd be great if I put my ideas down in the open. Now, maybe people think that blogs are all about ranting about one's personal problems... I think it is quite the opposite. I'm going to make mine about the world's issues... Maybe I'll get people thinking about the world around them. Remember that whatever I say is my opinion, and that you in no way have to follow what I say religiously. Well, have fun, and be sure to send me things to talk about; I'll be sure to cover it!
